How do I create compliant Relationships?

The compliance of Relationships involves all the necessary actions to evaluate risks and make sure the relationships and their associated contacts and entities are real. Thus, the compliance of Entities affects the compliance of related Relationships. Below you’ll find the steps to achieve 100% Compliance for Entities.

Steps:

To create a Relationship, you’ll need predefined Onboarding Status and Risk.

The owner of the company should be a Contact that has the role of a Internal director. To create the Contact Type and the Contact click here.

Some Compliance policies are specific to Relationships with a  definite level of Risk.

In order to define compliance policies, in addition to Risk you’ll need Document Types.

Once Document types are added, you will find under the Docs Section the documents that are required for compliance

Contacts and Entities can be associated with a Relationship.

 Associated contacts and entities’ compliance will make up the Relationships compliance.

Reviewing the Relationship depends on a few factors:

  1. Defining the Initial Review Date when Creating a new Relationship.
  2. Defining the Review Frequency according to the defined Risks under Relationship Settings.
  3. Add the Risk-related Descriptors under Descriptors.
  4. Define the Descriptors that will be a part of the review checklist under Manage Descriptors.
The review date will be automatically generated according to your settings. When the date is due, click Review.

Once the previous steps are completed:

  • Related Contacts are compliant.
  • Related Entities are compliant.
  • Descriptors are filled.
  • Required documents are uploaded.
  • Reviews are made on time.

The Relationship should be 100% compliant.
